What woman in publishing do you know who has been truly exceptional? What woman has inspired you with her achievements, contributed to the publishing industry, set a standard to which other women can aspire? We are going to recognize that woman, or someone very like her, at our 10th annual WIPP Exceptional Woman in Publishing awards breakfast held at FOLIO: Show this fall.
This year’s award recipient will be joining the ranks of Gloria Steinem, Susan Taylor, Maria and Ardie Rodale, Lynn Povich, Eleanor Clift, and the other remarkable women who have been awarded this honor over the past ten years.
Last year’s exceptional woman, Phyllis Hoffman, publisher of TeaTime, Southern Lady, Taste of the South, Just CrossStitch, Sew Beautiful, and Cooking with Paula Deen, is expected to be present to give the award to this year’s recipient.
