Women in Periodical Publishing will present the 2010 Exceptional Woman in Publishing award at the conference to Dorothy Kalins. Ms. Kalins has been widely recognized for her editorial leadership and for her many contributions to the publishing industry. We proudly add her to wipp's list of previous recipients of the EWIP award: Gloria Steinem, Bonnie Krueger, Ardie and Marie Rodale, and Alix Kennedy. All of these women are exceptional in our book!

You have heard of speed dating. Well this goes one better–it's actually worth your time! Conference attendees can schedule a personal 20-minutes session with one of the certified life and career coaches available during the conference to work through a specific challenge or opportunity you may be facing. The wipp conference closes with a wine and chocolate tasting at the spectacular designer showroom of Arclinea, directly across the street from The Westin. This year the after-conference tastings are open to everyone from the many Bay Area publishing and media groups!
